Permanent Brow Makeup
Permanent Brow Makeup refers to any Permanent MakeUp - or PMU - process in which a revolutionary technique is used to apply pigments to the dermal layer of the skin resulting in perfectly crafted gorgeous brows customed to you.
Several different techniques exist - like Microblading, Nanoblading, Powder Brows, and Combo Brows. The primary difference between techniques refers to the tool used during the PMU application process.
Microblading uses a small handheld manual tool containing several small needs to create precise, hair-like strokes, resulting in perfectly defined brows.
Nanoblading (also known as Machine Microblading) utilizes an automated tool containing a single, flexible needle that results in natural-looking brows containing hyper-realistic hair-like strokes. The Machine hair stroke technique aka Nanobrows is a more gentle approach to traditional microblading.
Powder Brows is a permanent makeup technique that creates brows with a soft powder effect, to give a makeup look. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup machine similar to a tattoo gun. This technique is suitable for all skin types and is ideal for oily skin types.
Combo Brows combines the best of both techniques - coupling Nanoblading and Powder Brows technique creates a multidimensional, full effect.
What Technique Is Right for Me?
Great question! While it can be helpful for you to understand the difference between techniques, it’s important to understand there are many factors I consider based on your desired outcome, skin type, age, lifestyle, and more.
Longevity
Typically, the results of Permanent MakeUp can last between 1-3 years, depending on various factors such as your skin type (normal, oily, dry), age, and sun exposure. It's important to consider your skincare routine and any professional treatments you may undergo, as they can also impact the lifespan of the procedure. To prolong the results, following proper aftercare instructions and scheduling regular touch-ups is highly recommended.
During our consultation, we will discuss all of these factors and decide what application will be most suitable for you. Each person’s experience will be custom tailored to find their specific needs and end results, leaving you with that gorgeous, just-applied finished look 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Is It Safe?
When done correctly by a certified Permanent MakeUp artist, PMU procedures are safe with minimal potential risks. It is important to follow aftercare instructions for the best-healed results.
What Can I Expect?
PMU uses a special kind of tattoo pen used to implant permanent pigment ink into your skin. The pen is equipped with a tiny hollow needle, or needles, that vibrates and penetrates the skin with pigment each time it makes contact with your skin.
To ease any discomfort, I will apply a local anesthetic to numb the area so you will feel as little discomfort as possible.
Permanent Makeup Eyebrows typically takes two sessions. The initial shaping session (2 to 3 hours) and the touchup (45 to 90 minutes). Like with all tattoos, the area will be swollen and colors will be a little darker and brighter directly afterward. After a few days, the area will reduce in swelling and the color will settle into the desired effect.
Although PMU is referred to as Permanent MakeUp, it doesn’t last forever. Depending on the procedure and your skin type, you will most likely need touch-ups occasionally.

Brow Tinting
Brow tinting is a semi-permanent dyeing service that involves applying a specially formulated tint to darken and define the brows, enhancing the appearance of sparse or light eyebrows. Tint typically lasts between 4-6 weeks and delivers a convenient solution for achieving well-defined brows without daily makeup application.
